Lotus Root Black Eyed Pea Pig Tail Soup

Lotus Root Black Eyed Pea Pig Tail Soup - A nutritious and nourishing soup that is naturally sweetened, taste really good and it's suitable for both adults and kids. 


370g Pig Tail, cut into chucks ??? 370?,??

45g Black Eyed Pea ?? 45?

260g Lotus Root, peeled and cut into chunks ?? 260?,????

4 Seedless Red Dates ???? 4?

2 litre Hot Water ?? 2 ??

Some sea salt, add to taste ? ??

Method: ??

1. Rinse pig tails with hot boiling water. Soak in the hot water for 5 minutes. Drain and transfer the pig tail into a pot. Put all ingredients (except salt) in a pot. Bring to a boil.

2. Cook with high heat for 30 minutes. Reduce heat and continue to cook for 60 minutes. 

3. Add salt to taste. Cook another 30 minutes. Serve warm.
